Following are the procedures for applying to Junior Kindergarten through 8th Grade at the Hebrew Academy:
- Contact one of our administrators who will meet with you and arrange a school tour:
- For 1st through 8th Grades, contact Moshe Vaknin, Head of School (973-584-5530, ext 3021 or mvaknin@hamc.org) or Cheryl Bahar, Dean of General Studies (973-584-5530, ext 3011 or cbahar@hamc.org)
- For JK through Kindergarten, contact Ricki Rubin, Director, Lillie Brandt Early Childhood Center (973-584-5530, ext 3017 or rrubin@hamc.org)
- Complete an Application for Admission and include the following:
- Application Fee
- Record of Immunizations
- Student Records/Transcripts
- Teacher Assessments
- Appointments will be made for you and your child to meet with one or more of the following:
- Moshe Vaknin, Head of School
- Dr. Cheryl Bahar, Dean of General Studies
- Ricki Rubin, Director, Lillie Brandt Early Childhood Center
- Meet with Jill Granik, Director of Operations, to discuss tuition assistance options (if applicable).
- Receive notification of admission decision.
- If accepted, complete enrollment packet (include application for tuition assistance if applicable).
