Substitutes

We need dedicated teachers and teaching assistants to be on-call, day-to-day substitutes, full and/or part day, to fill in when our classroom staff is absent.

  • Substitute teachers are needed in ECC through 8th grade, for both Judaic and general subjects.
  • A love of children is required
  • Previous experience is desirable but not required.
  • A minimum of 2 years of college is required, preferably in a related field.
  • A teaching certificate/experience is desirable but not required.
  • Though you may be called the morning you are needed, we will call you in advance whenever possible.
  • You will be asked to submit to a criminal background check and provide proof of legal status to work.

Judaic Studies Teacher

HAMC is seeking a part-time, dynamic Judaic studies teacher for 4th, 6th and 7th grades to teach Chumash, Dinim, holidays, etc. Experience and related certification required, smicha preferred. Please submit a resume to mvaknin@hamc.org.

 

IT Coordinator

We are seeking a full-time in-house IT Coordinator with experience (preferably in a school) with XP, Windows 7, Server 2003 and up, Microsoft Office, print managing, SQL database, Apple OS and who has related credentials such as MCSE and A+ with Dell Certification a plus. Duties will include but are not limited to:

  • managing network servers
  • maintaining desktops, laptops, SMARTBoards, printers, and other electronic equipment
  • providing technical assistance on a personal and group level
  • operating A/V equipment including but not limited to, HD video recording, audio mixing board, microphones, lighting
  • editing HD audio and video
  • producing video DVDs of events for distribution
  • setting up live web video broadcasting
  • managing procurement of IT assets
  • conducting research for the advancement and deployment of technology
  • managing IT inventory
  • evaluating cost saving measures
  • serving as liaison between the school and venders and third party service providers
